Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha seeks a journeyman level facilities-related control system cybersecurity and ICT design engineer. You will work in the Electrical Engineering Section to design and review cyber/ICT systems for military, civil works, and IIS customers.

You will develop plans, specifications, analyses, and calculations using CAD/BIM tools, perform site surveys, and coordinate with disciplines to ensure high-quality, compliant designs and documentation for contract deliverables.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized IT experience including ICT design and cybersecurity operations guidance.
• Experience using CAD/CAM tools to develop ICT design projects.
• Ability to review designs for conformance to criteria and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex designs for facilities electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate Cyber/ICT design with electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, environmental, and architectural disciplines.
• Review designs and provide assurance documents for conformance to criteria and standards.
• Prepare technical papers to brief higher authority on technical issues.
• Review system designs to ensure high quality, reliable, and cost-effective outputs.
