Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Fusion Analyst in Washington, DC to support a Defensive Cyber Operations team. This hybrid role combines on-site work with up to 20% telework and rotating 24/7 shifts for coverage.

You will synthesize threat intel with internal telemetry to drive defensive actions and produce high-impact Fusion Reports for leadership. The ideal candidate has DoD 8570 IAT/CSSP certifications, TS/SCI clearance, and strong analytic writing skills to translate complex data into concise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III certification (Security+, CASP+ CE, or CISSP).
• DoD 8570 CSSP Analyst certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+) or obtain within 180 days.
• Analytic writing mastery: synthesize complex data into concise executive briefs.
• Framework proficiency: Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Current DoD TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass customer suitability screenings.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize threat intel with internal telemetry to assess adversary impact.
• Author Fusion Reports for senior leadership on threats and risks.
• Correlate global threat activity using SIEM and TIP against internal logs.
• Maintain Adversary Encyclopedia mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Prioritize patching by analyzing VDP data with threat reports.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to adjust firewall/SIEM/EDR.
