Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Forensic Analyst to support SOC 24/7 incident response with host and network forensic analysis.

You will collaborate with security teams, the legal group, and other internal units to drive remediation and closure of incidents across the distributed enterprise. Responsibilities include collecting evidence, producing executive summaries and technical reports, and performing forensic analysis on images and artifacts to inform incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information assurance, computer science, engineering or related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred in a related technical field.
• Three (3) years or more security systems administration with endpoint, network, application and host-based security solutions.
• Three (3) years or more cybersecurity risk management and/or IT experience.
• Two (2) years or more Cloud computing security configuration and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs the inventory, examination, and comprehensive technical analysis of computer evidence.
• Produces executive summaries and detailed technical reports of findings.
• Serves as a technical forensic liaison to stakeholders and explains investigations details.
• Tracks and documents on-site incident response activities and provides updates to leadership.
• Acquire/Collect computer artifacts to support onsite engagements.
• Correlate forensic findings to network events to build intrusion narratives.
• Analyze forensic images and evidence for reports and written products.
• Document forensic analysis from initial participation through resolution.
• Perform forensic triage to determine scope, urgency and impact.
• Assist with leading and coordinating preliminary investigations.
• Evaluate, extract, and analyze suspected malicious code.
• Triage electronic devices and assess evidentiary value.
