Job summary

AnaVation, LLC is seeking a Cyber-Intelligence Analyst to serve as an Exercise Planner in Reston, VA. You will design, coordinate, and execute complex cyber exercises, collaborating with IC agencies and partners to ensure mission success.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI with CI Poly, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and 2–4 years in exercise planning or cybersecurity operations. CySA+ certification is preferred or obtainable.

Description of Task to be Performed:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber-Intelligence Analyst to serve as an Exercise Planner, to join our team and support our mission-critical customer. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the design, coordination, and execution of complex cyber exercises.

We need a proactive, highly engaging professional who thrives on building relationships and fostering collaboration across all Intelligence Community (IC) Agencies and with our partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in exercise planning, exceptional communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of Information Security and cyber operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance w/ CI Poly
• Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Intelligence, IT, etc.) or equivalent professional experience. 2-4 years of experience related to exercise planning or Cyber security operations.
• Certifications:Currently hold or be able to attain an IAT II (CySA+) or equivalent certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Background in cyber, intelligence, or military exercise planning; familiarity with standard methodologies.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to draft clear operational documents and brief high-level audiences.
• Interagency Collaboration: Experience working directly with IC and partners to build consensus and drive collaboration.
• Cyber Intelligence: Core understanding of cyber threat intelligence, threat actor TTPs, and global cyber operations.
