Job summary

Entarian, formed by Sev1Tech and ERT, seeks a Cyber Engineer to support NIWC Atlantic's E2S2 division. You will plan, implement, and monitor cybersecurity measures, assess vulnerabilities, and ensure DoD-aligned security controls to protect critical systems.

This on-site role requires Top Secret clearance, travel up to 60 days yearly, and collaboration with engineering, cyber, and program teams to maintain compliant, resilient networks.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret level clearance and DoD-compliant cybersecurity policy experience.
• Plan, implement and monitor cyber measures to improve defense and resilience.
• Assess vulnerabilities and develop remediation or mitigation strategies.
• Ensure security controls protect digital files and networked systems.
• Respond to incidents, re-establish protections, and document actions.
• Familiarity with A&A requirements and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to strengthen and maintain network defense.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risk and propose remediation or risk mitigation actions.
• Ensure security controls and countermeasures are properly implemented to protect digital files and networked systems.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and breaches, re-establish protections, and produce required documentation.
• Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, including A&A requirements.
• Deploy and operate enterprise tools that support advanced threat hunting, detection, and monitoring.
• Implement network inspection and packet capture systems to identify and mitigate threats.
• Perform equipment installation and configuration, maintaining cable management and organization.
• Collaborate with engineering, cyber, and program teams to maintain DoD/NIWC Atlantic/MCSC cybersecurity standards.
