Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (DS) is seeking a Computer Support 4 to join its cyber professionals in the Roy, Utah area, with potential locations in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time role requires DoD Secret clearance and SAP/SAR eligibility, and involves desktop troubleshooting, inventory management, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of additional education and/or experience.
• Must obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance within a reasonable period as determined by the company and by program and/or customer requirements; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
• Must obtain Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance within a period of time as determined by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining SAP/SAR will be a condition of continued employment.
• Experience troubleshooting, installing, and configuring Desktops running Windows OS (including Windows 10), as well as the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (example: Security+ CE) or have the ability to obtain the required certification within 6 months of start date as a condition of continued employment.
• The ability to lift 40 pounds.
• The ability to work after hours and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly verification of PC and other peripheral inventory across different networks.
• Act as a liaison between various teams in multiple tasking and inventory coordination.
• Experience and learn more about cyber security methods and processes.
• Utilize inventory database and other tools for accurate and efficient record keeping.
