Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Cyber Security Network Defense (CND) Analyst to monitor, analyze, mitigate, and defend enterprise systems and networks in real time.

The role includes intrusion analysis, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and developing security policies and standards. Strong writing skills for technical documentation are expected, with responsibilities spanning operational reports and plans.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance / SCI eligible.
• 5+ years’ IT security experience; OR 7+ years’ IT experience.
• IAT Level II Security Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security).
• 3 years minimum of Traffic and Log Analysis experience.
• Extensive knowledge of network firewalls, logs, and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support real-time monitoring of IPS/IDS/NAC devices and mission.
• Monitor network traffic and correlate events to determine security posture.
• Create and maintain reports for ACAS, HBSS, STIG Compliance Viewer, and JSA.
• Perform IDS/IPS/NAC real-time monitoring and analysis.
• Conduct network threat analysis and incident response.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and testing of defenses.
• Prepare and disseminate technical reports and operations documentation.
