Job summary

The Bureau of Naval Personnel seeks a cybersecurity professional to join a project team implementing new cybersecurity technologies, policies, and procedures. You will use Microsoft and Linux/Unix server management skills and advise colleagues on cybersecurity issues.

You will contribute to Systems Security Plans for DoN RMF-based certification and accreditation. Qualifications include experience analyzing cybersecurity standards and integrating cybersecurity solutions into operating systems,

Qualifications

• Specialized experience must demonstrate analyzing cybersecurity standards, policies and procedures and recommending changes.
• Ability to modify cybersecurity approaches to meet new or emergent requirements.
• Ability to integrate cybersecurity solutions into design, development, and management of operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement new cybersecurity technologies, policies, and procedures.
• Apply strong technical skills in Microsoft and/or Linux/Unix server management.
• Advise team members regarding cybersecurity issues and recommend courses of action.
• Provide input to Systems Security Plans for network certification and accreditation using the DoN's RMF.
