Job summary

PMAT is seeking an IT Security Administrator to support daily cybersecurity operations, focusing on monitoring, remediation, and endpoint protection across Microsoft Defender, Intune, Entra ID, and GCC High.

You will assist with audits, maintain documentation, and help implement security improvements across Azure, VMware ESXi, and limited AWS environments. Onsite with hybrid schedule after initial period.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT support/cybersecurity operations experience.
• Hands-on with Defender Suite and Intune.
• Experience with Azure, Entra ID, VMware, and Windows admin.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and incidents via Microsoft Defender/Sentinel; assist incident response.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure endpoint compliance; support audit readiness.
• Assist with CMMC/NIST compliance activities and security documentation.
• Provide IT support across cloud and on-prem environments; contribute to security automation and hardening.
