Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Cyber Technical Analyst to support RMF/SA&A for dedicated cyber defense systems and to assess vulnerabilities across enterprise networks. You will develop and test new tools, manage data and cryptographic key processes, and collaborate with ISSMs/ISSO staff to ensure compliance and secure operations.

The role requires US citizenship, a DOE security clearance, and experience with defense-grade security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field or related area.
• US citizenship and DOE clearance requirements are essential.
• Current certifications are preferred (IAT/IAM Level I or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Identify cyber capabilities strategies for hardware/software based on mission needs and support authorization testing.
• Collaborate to design and develop cybersecurity tools and innovative solutions.
• Implement RMF/SA&A requirements for cyber defense systems and maintain related records.
• Perform risk assessments for hardware, software, and portable devices.
• Assist in incident handling and security training as needed.
• Develop data management capabilities including cloud-based cryptographic key management.
