Job summary

Weeghman & Briggs, LLC seeks a motivated Computer Network Defense Analyst 2-4 to support critical government initiatives in Annapolis Junction, MD. This onsite role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and offers growth within a mission-driven team.

You will analyze network data, develop mitigations, and collaborate with government and contractor personnel to protect national security interests, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• > Education: Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, or related field. Up to 18 semester hours of military networking/cyber coursework equivalent to an Associate degree.
• > Experience: Computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Includes network/system administration. Equivalencies may apply.
• > Level qualifications show structured experience requirements matching years of education.

Responsibilities

• Use data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network logs, and host logs to identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber events.
• Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems.
• Work across wired, wireless, and collaboration platforms and understand related hardware/software.
• Advance expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, IoT, and advanced network security.
• Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel on mission-relevant intelligence.
