• Ability to analyze alerts from SIEM/EDR and coordinate containment.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Monitoring & Triage: monitor, analyze, triage alerts from SIEM/EDR/cloud tools.
• Security Event Investigation: assess severity, scope, and impact of alerts.
• Incident Escalation: classify and escalate threats to teams such as IR, Threat Hunting, SOC engineering.
• Threat Correlation: connect events from multiple sources (IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud).
• IOC/IOA Analysis: analyze indicators of compromise and suspicious activity.
• Documentation: log actions and findings in case systems.
• Incident Containment and Coordination: support containment and remediation.
• Operational Improvement: tune alerts and refine response processes.
• Research & Development: stay current on threat tech and TTPs.
• Vulnerability Assessment: perform assessments and track remediation.
• Team Collaboration & Reporting: report to CSOC leadership.
• Policy Adherence: comply with cybersecurity regulations.
