City of Sugar Land is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security operations team in Sugar Land, TX. The role focuses on protecting the city’s IT infrastructure, monitoring for threats, and coordinating incident response in collaboration with IT Operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with knowledge of Cisco XDR/Fortinet, and a focus on secure network design and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT security experience.
• Experience with Cisco/XDR, Fortinet, and SIEM.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations & Monitoring: implement and manage Cisco XDR, Endpoint Security, Fortinet gateways; monitor for incidents.
