Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Data Analyst/Cyber Analytics professional to support the FSC Program within the Cyber & Intelligence Sector. The role is on-site in Arlington, VA, requiring U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

You will analyze cybersecurity datasets, develop dashboards with Power BI/Tableau, and automate reporting using Python and SQL while collaborating with cybersecurity analysts to deliver data-driven insights for leadership and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of related experience; 7+ years with a Masters; 9+ years with PhD.
• Must possess or be able to obtain one of several cybersecurity/analytics certifications (CySA+, CASP+, CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience in any programming language.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or data analytics.
• Experience building dashboards/reports with Power BI/Tableau.
• U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cybersecurity and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau for leadership reporting.
• Perform data extraction, validation, cleansing, transformation, and enrichment using Python (Pandas) and SQL.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data quality checks.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to translate requirements into insights.
• Document data sources, reporting methodologies, and analytical processes.
