Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Cyber Data Analytics Engineer to partner with NAVAIR and stakeholders to acquire, process, visualize, and analyze diverse data sources for mission-critical analytics.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to prepare data products, document pipelines, and translate business needs into data solutions, with rigorous security and clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field is required.
• Five (5) years of related experience is required
• Thorough working knowledge of at least two analytical programming languages (R, Python, Scala, SQL)
• Working knowledge of code repositories & version control (Git)
• Basic working knowledge at least one BI/visualization tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
• Technical and business domain-focused customer experience
• A Security + certification is required within 90 days of higher
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher is required
• Selected candidate must pass a background investigation
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

• Work with data engineers & developers to acquire, process, and format data both at source and post-extraction to create analytical products
• Work hand-in-hand with data analysts & data scientists to ready diverse data sources for analytics work
• Liaise with business and operational stakeholders and customers to understand business needs, metrics, and goals and objectives. Translate and map user requirements to underlying data sources and develop plans for how those data sources can be extracted
• Work with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to develop thorough documentation for data sources and pipelines (e.g. data dictionaries, flow models, etc)
