Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Cyber Data Analysis Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines for cybersecurity investigations. You will handle data ingest, normalization, SIEM data flows, and VM management across Linux/Windows environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a systems engineering role, strong Linux, network knowledge, and experience with SIEM tools. The role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineer or similar experience.
• IAT II certification and CSSP Infrastructure Support certification 120 days of hire.
• Strong Linux/Windows experience and networking knowledge.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to communicate with program SMEs and customers of varying technical backgrounds.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Elastic, Splunk or ArcSight.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines for cybersecurity investigations.
• Manage data ingest, normalization, and SIEM data flows.
• Oversee Linux/Windows host administration and VM management.
• Coordinate with other providers and stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain 99.99% system availability and rapid incident response.
• Document configurations, patches, and procedures in compliance with DoD/IC policies.
