Job summary

MetaPhase Consulting is recruiting a Cyber Capability Developer to design, build, test, secure, and sustain specialized cyber capabilities for federal mission environments in Washington, DC. You will lead digital forensic tooling, secure data pipelines, and automated delivery practices to accelerate incident triage and threat analysis.

The role requires 8+ years in related fields, a BS in a technical area, TS/SCI eligibility, and hands-on experience with secure coding, CI/CD, and modern

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cyber capability development, software engineering, or digital forensics.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with secure coding practices, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain high-availability, multi-platform digital forensic tooling for incident response and threat analysis.
• Translate requirements into secure software utilities that operate reliably in mission environments.
• Develop secure data-ingest pipelines, data-processing utilities, and automation to accelerate incident triage while protecting data integrity.
• Engineer tooling interoperable across commercial, GOTS, and custom apps in mixed environments.
• Implement security hardening, automated testing, logging, and quality checks for resilient cyber operations.
• Establish centralized version control and CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, deployment, and patching.
