Job summary

The Amatriot Group seeks a Cyber Capabilities Developer in Chantilly, VA to support rapid development of offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools. You will work on network topologies, secured networks, and kernel/user-level management, applying red/blue team concepts to mission objectives.

Responsibilities include prototyping tools for Windows and Linux endpoints, conducting vulnerability research, and managing virtualized environments with VMware, Proxmox, and KVM/qemu.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 2+ years relevant experience; or 6+ years with no degree.
• BS/BA with 6+ years relevant experience; or 10 years with no degree.
• BS/BA with 10+ years relevant experience; or 14 years with no degree.
• Advanced certifications or equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Rapid Application Development for offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools.
• Rapidly develop and prototype tools for Windows and Linux endpoints.
• Perform software engineering using modern practices and languages (C, C++, .NET, Python).
• Identify vulnerabilities in network, host, and web app endpoints via open-source research and manual analysis.
• Use open-source penetration testing tools.
• Apply persistence techniques on endpoints and work at user and kernel levels.
• Create, manage, and deploy virtual environments with VMware, Proxmox, KVM/qemu.
