Who You Are...

As a Production Worker I in our precast construction division, you will perform various tasks involved in manufacturing LB Foster products. You will follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production. This position is for the straight night shift.

This Position...

You will work with a production team to manufacture precast products and buildings.

Examples of work include:

  1. Following all safe work practices and procedures.
  2. Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  3. Carrying out verbal and written instructions from the Foreman.
  4. Completing jobs in a timely manner to ensure on-time shipment.
  5. Lifting raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists.
  6. Completing pre-operation equipment inspections and reporting issues.
  7. Setting up, adjusting, and operating basic machine tools.
  8. Reading and interpreting work instructions and executing work accordingly.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need...

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a production environment (preferred).
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
  • Focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem-solving, and teamwork.
  • Ability to exert 80 pounds of force occasionally, 40 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
  • Average proficiency in mathematics.
  • Good visual acuity.
