Job summary

Blue Signal Search seeks an experienced Cx Electrical Project Manager to lead commissioning on large data center developments across the United States. You will drive critical power systems validation, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure systems perform to design through turnover.

You will manage schedules, oversee testing, and maintain documentation while promoting safety and quality on active construction sites with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, commissioning, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience managing commissioning for complex electrical systems in data centers or similar facilities.
• Strong understanding of critical power, UPS, transfer systems, and electrical protection concepts.
• Ability to lead meetings, coordinate stakeholders, and produce technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain commissioning schedules aligned with milestones.
• Coordinate commissioning with contractors, engineers, manufacturers, testing partners, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate drawings and specs to determine startup requirements and challenges.
• Oversee functional testing of critical electrical systems including backup power and distribution.
• Monitor testing, verify installation quality, and resolve deficiencies before turnover.
• Facilitate commissioning meetings and provide progress updates to leadership and clients.
• Prepare and manage validation records, testing results, and closeout deliverables.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with electrical standards and site procedures.
