Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold AWS D1.1 CWI certification and inspect to AWS D1.1/ASME standards.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders.
• Experience with VT, MT, UT, PT, RT quality inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welding bonds on job sites and craft inspection reports.
• Review fabrication and field erection drawings for compliance.
• Communicate findings with Project Manager, clients and inspectors.
• Perform welder qualification tests and visual weld exams.
• Enforce safety policies and safe welding practices.
