Animal Doctors of South Tampa is seeking an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join a busy walk-in hospital serving dogs and cats with wellness, urgent care, dentistry, and surgery.

The ideal candidate will have Florida CVT credentials, at least 2 years of experience, and strong skills in surgery support, patient handling, IV catheter placement, blood draws, and in-house lab work. A rotating Saturday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
• Previous surgery experience required.
• Skilled in patient handling, IV catheter placement, and blood draws.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in clinical and surgical settings.
• Handle patients safely and restraint as needed.
• Prepare and run in-house bloodwork and labs.
• Operate radiology equipment and position patients for imaging.
• Support client education and teamwork.
