The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for the general supervision and coordination of activities of nursing personnel on shift, during weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. This individual will utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions. The RN will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care. Additional duties within the scope of the role may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Active RN licensure required; BLS certification required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending on the area assigned.
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
