Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position in Michigan. The role requires 3+ years CVOR experience and an active MI RN license.

You will work day shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and be required to work every 3rd weekend. BLS and ACLS are required, with CVOR-specific skills current within 1 year and two supervisory reference forms completed in the past two years. Epic EMR is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• 3+ years CVOR experience required.
• Open heart surgical experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• CVOR skills checklist current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Level II trauma center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with advanced surgical and structural heart care.
• Operating Room unit supporting open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Required to work every 3rd weekend.
