Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Wyoming, Michigan. The CVOR RN will support the operating room team, focusing on open heart procedures, with 40 hours per week and a 10-hour day shift for 13 weeks.
Requirements include 18 months of acute care surgery experience, active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS as needed. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, life and disability coverage,
Qualifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS and ACLS may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
- Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
- Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
- Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
