Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing assignment in Ocala, Florida. The role requires 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts as a Travel position.

The CVOR RN will provide professional circulating nurse support for cardiothoracic procedures, coordinate OR activity, and ensure patient safety through strict aseptic technique and bedside care. ACLS and BLS are required, with 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for a variety of cardiothoracic procedures in the CVOR.
• Assist physicians and scrub during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and OR readiness.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgery.
• Coordinate with team to ensure equipment availability and sterility.
• Administer medications and handle specimens as directed.
