Overview

CVOR Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Bismarck, ND

Job Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8/10hrs, Days

Pay: $1774.40/week

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  • Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies during operations.
  • Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, effective use.
  • Accurately manage counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
  • Handle surgical specimens appropriately and in accordance with protocols.
  • Support the surgical team during emergencies and complex cases.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to provide safe, efficient patient care.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Current BLS certification, UAP
  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures
