Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an experienced CVOR Technician to join a Magnet-designated teaching Level III Trauma facility in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures, with open and minimally invasive cases, and welcomes first-time travelers with local candidates accepted.

Ideal candidates have CVOR experience and NBSTSA/NCCT certification, plus BLS. Expect guaranteed 40 hours/week, multiple shifts, and a demanding but rewarding operating room environment

Qualifications

• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required

• Minimum 1 year of relevant CVOR experience
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during complex procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and CVOR instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Support complex cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity CVOR team
• Assist with open and minimally invasive cases
• Provide coverage for guaranteed full-time hours
• Coordinate with surgeons and circulating staff during procedures
• Maintain sterile field and instrument readiness throughout cases

Job description

We are seeking an experienced technician to join a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room team within a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level III Trauma facility. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiovascular operating room experience and be comfortable supporting complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including open and minimally invasive cases. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local candidates are accepted.

Position Details

• Position/Specialty: Technician
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shifts Available:
  • 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
  • 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• ORs: 6 total — 4 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, 1 PV OR
• Weekend Requirement: Up to 2 weekends per month
• On-Call Requirement: Up to 2 weekends per month and up to 2 weekdays per week; holiday call as needed
• Holiday Requirement: Holiday call may be required
• Floating: No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Locals: Accepted
• Pending State License: Not accepted
• RTO: No more than 5 days
