Kettering Health Dayton is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join its Operating Room team in Dayton, OH. The role supports perioperative care by preparing sterile fields, passing instruments, and assisting nurses and surgeons during procedures.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in surgical technology, or equivalent experience, and certification within one year if not already certified. On-call readiness and a strong focus on infection control are preferred.

Formación

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in surgical technology.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist within 1 year of hire if not already certified.
• Experience in operating room settings with sterile technique and patient care responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the sterile field and passing instruments.
• Label and handle patient specimens following protocol.
• Maintain a clean, safe OR environment and infection control standards.
• Support nurse and surgeon in perioperative care and patient transport as needed.
• Be capable of preoperative and postoperative assistance under supervision.
