Job summary

Nurses and More Inc. is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to support complex cardiac and vascular surgeries at a leading healthcare facility.

The position involves preparing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting with specialized cardiovascular equipment in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent CVOR experience, CST and BLS certifications, and a strong knowledge of cardiovascular instrumentation and sterile technique to ensure patient

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required.
Experience assisting with open-heart and vascular procedures preferred.
Current CST certification preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular instrumentation, sterile technique, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and vascular procedures, including open-heart surgeries.
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instruments.
Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures.
Assist with setup and operation of specialized cardiovascular surgical equipment.
Anticipate surgeon and team needs to ensure procedural efficiency.
Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and facility protocols.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to provide exceptional patient care.
