Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with CVOR experience to support cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting. This contract role emphasizes aseptic technique, instrument handling, and seamless collaboration with the surgical team.

Applicants should have 2+ years of CVOR experience, active BLS, and a national certification preference. Weekly earnings range from $1,753 to $1,918, with benefits and housing options available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CVOR Tech, Surgical Tech, or allied health program.
• Active national certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven CVOR Tech experience in a hospital or medical center setting.
• Comfortable with a variety of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique.
• Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile procedures at all times.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and passing instrumentation efficiently.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain surgical supplies during procedures.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and other team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document details of operative procedures as required.
