Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to assist physicians in the OR across multiple specialties. You will perform technical and patient care duties under RN supervision and act as a clinical specialist across service lines.

The role requires an accredited surgical technology program or LPN training, GED, and 3 years of experience with certification. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.
• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required.
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can substitute for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties.
• Performing technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Functions as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines.
