Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) is required for hires after March 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to surgeon throughout perioperative care.
• Positions and preps patients prior to surgery.
• Controls bleeding, closes sites, and dresses wounds.
