Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of experience can substitute for certification, totaling 10 years of Surgical Tech experience.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician during surgery in the Operating Room for multiple specialties.
• Perform technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Function as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines.

Education

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program
