Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking highly trained Cardiovascular Surgical Technologists to join our CVOR team. You will work with cardiovascular surgeons on complex procedures in state-of-the-art suites and support multidisciplinary staff in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications include CVOR experience, completion of a vocational or military surgical technologist program, and certification in Surgical Technology. One year CVOR experience is preferred.

• Proven CVOR experience in cardiovascular surgical services.
• Completion of a vocational or military Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification in Surgical Technology.
• One year CVOR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cardiovascular surgeons during complex CVOR procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff in the CVOR suite.
• Assist with procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repairs, and TAVR/TMVR.
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical instrument readiness.
