Qualifications

• Sound background in basic nursing principles.
• Demonstrates competency in unit specific skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates accurate information at handoffs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Performs nursing care planning, intervention, coordination and evaluation.
• Maintains real-time documentation of nursing care per hospital policy.
• Directs other staff in provision of care as assigned.
