Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). The unit specializes in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries with a high-volume focus in LVAD and transplant procedures, offering nurses exposure to advanced surgical care.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds a current RN license in the state, and possesses BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Cardiovascular Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
