Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. You will provide and coordinate patient care through the nursing process in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

The CVOR program is a high-volume center performing LVAD, heart transplants, pediatric cardiac surgery, vascular and thoracic procedures; this role offers sign-on bonus and shift options, with 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Cardiovascular Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
