Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring an RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and support patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative continuum.

Qualifications include a nursing degree, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, Georgia RN licensure, CNOR/CRNFA where applicable, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (didactic and clinical components)
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR (if CVOR)
• RN - Georgia state licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure
• CNOR certification if applicable
• BCLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas
• Function as RN first assistant during operative procedures and throughout perioperative continuum
• May serve as RN circulator when appropriate
