Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. The nurse operates within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

The role requires graduation from a nursing program, a Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license, and BLS certification; PRN experience is welcome, with a bachelor's degree preferred and specialty certification

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible for PRN positions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and participate in professional growth and accountability.
