Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, following the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. This role emphasizes professional growth, accountability, and coordination of patient care among the team.

Minimum education is a nursing program graduate with a Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a nursing program.
• MINIMUM LICENSE: Current GA RN or NLC/eNLC multistate license and BLS certification.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: For PRN positions, one year hospital experience; BSN preferred; specialty certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff to maintain standards of practice and quality care.
