Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced RN with cardiovascular operating room expertise for a 13-week contract in California. The position requires four 10-hour shifts weekly, day start times, and a call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Active CA license with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS is required, plus 2+ years CVOR and 1+ year travel RN experience. Competitive weekly pay, housing/benefits, and strong clinical leadership support are offered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care during complex CVOR procedures.

• Administer meds and monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery.
• Support pre- and post-operative education and assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for transitions of care.
• Respond to rapidly changing situations with professional judgment.
• Be available for scheduled calls, including weekends/holidays.

Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled RN with cardiovascular operating room experience. This contract role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care alongside a dedicated surgical team for a 13-week assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Day shift with varied start times
• Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required)
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel RN

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care throughout complex CVOR surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment
• Administer medications and monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
• Support pre- and post-operative patient education and assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Respond to rapidly changing situations with professional judgment and competence
• Demonstrate flexibility for scheduled calls, including weekends and holidays, as required
