Job summary

A leading healthcare facility in Nashville is looking for an Operating Room Nurse CVOR PRN to evaluate patients, provide education and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate must be a Registered Nurse with OR Circulating Experience and must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting. This role will involve working in a cooperative environment with various surgical staff members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• OR Circulating Experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient education surrounding the procedure.
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation including intravenous therapy.
• Participate in surgical site verification.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver patient-centered care.
• Document changes in patient condition.
