Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join a busy surgical team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for an RN with perioperative experience in cardiac or vascular procedures. The RN will provide nursing care, assist during surgeries, and ensure patient safety. A minimum of 1-2 years CVOR experience is preferred, along with BLS certification. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-volume surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years CVOR or cardiac OR experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, OR protocols, and cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patient status during surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
