Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for the CVOR specialty. The full-time evening shift (1p-9:30p) supports a busy Level One OR department with vascular and cardiac cases and two hybrid suites for endovascular care.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and graduation from an RN program.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required.
• CVOR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and contribute to nursing diagnoses during intraoperative care.
• Coordinate with anesthesia and surgeons to ensure safe passage through the intraoperative phase.
• Delegate interventions based on patient condition and competencies.
• Maintain patient safety, documentation, and post-anesthesia handoff readiness.
• Participate in unit projects, committees and continuous education.
