Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to position patients, apply sterile techniques, and support mobilization devices on the Day Shift. The role involves explaining procedures to patients and selecting proper technical factors for radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic imaging based on patient size and condition.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Massachusetts licensure, ARRT registration, and prefer CVIR registration within

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology and three years experience in radiologic technology.
• Licensure: Massachusetts license.
• Certification: ARRT registration is required; CVIR registration preferred and CVIR registration required within 3 years of hire. ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients to allay apprehensions and elicit cooperation.
• Calculate and select proper technical factors on radiographic, CT, and fluoroscopic equipment based on patient factors.
• Display drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly inquiry, compassion, advocacy, and teamwork.
• Resolve complex procedural situations and handle high-stress emergencies during high-risk procedures.
