Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas. The position offers a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts in a CVICU setting.

Immediate start date and ACLS/BLS certification required for qualified applicants. As a CVICU Travel Nurse, you will administer care to patients following complex procedures and work within a diverse team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in CVICU.
• Travel nursing assignment in Arlington, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical CVICU care for patients with life-threatening heart conditions.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
• Collect specimens for diagnostics and interpret results.
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy, and IV protocols.
• Be available for emergencies, provide CPR, and operate AEDs.
• Educate patients and families on home recovery.
