Job summary

Merit Health in Vicksburg, MS is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (CVICU RN) for night shift. The role offers up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time candidates.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care, coordinate with clinicians, manage IVs, monitors, and life-support equipment, and participate in code team activities while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in good standing and current BCLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
