Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a CVICU RN to care for critically ill cardiovascular ICU patients in a high-acuity setting. The role involves ventilator management, IV drips, and close collaboration with ICU teams to support patients and families during treatment and recovery.

The position requires Florida RN licensure (or compact), ADN with BSN preferred, and 1+ year ICU or 2+ years PCU experience. BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license OR compact RN license
• Must convert compact license within 60 days if relocating
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum: 1+ year recent ICU RN experience OR 2+ years PCU experience
• BLS certification within 30 days
• ACLS certification within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill cardiovascular ICU patients in a high-acuity environment
• Manage ventilators and IV drips as part of complex cardiac care
• Collaborate with ICU teams to coordinate patient care
• Support patients and families through treatment and recovery
