Job summary

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for the CSICU in the CVICU. This part-time night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation packages.

The unit handles post-surgical cardiac cases with high acuity and requires Virginia RN licensure and BLS within 90 days of hire. RNs will work in a 20-bed CVICU, supporting open heart procedures and complex cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Maintain standards of practice and professional performance.
• Monitor critically ill CVICU patients and manage hemodynamics, ventilators, and multiple infusions as directed.
